SAN ANTONIO – The season came to an end for the Texas A&M University-Victoria women's soccer team on Thursday in the Red River Athletic Conference Quarterfinals.
The sixth-seeded Jaguars fell, 4-0, to third-seeded Our Lady of the Lake at the OLLU Soccer Field. It was A&M-Victoria's fourth trip to the conference tournament in the last five years.
A&M-Victoria closes the season with an 8-5-5 record overall.
The Jaguars got shots from Vanessa Bevalian, Belle Artley and Irene Cabanas – all three were on goal.
A&M-Victoria only trailed 1-0 at halftime and limited OLLU to six shots in the first 45 minutes.
Junior goalkeeper Jamie Noriega made seven saves, marking the seventh consecutive game where the Dickinson native posted five saves or more. She closes the season with 72 saves in 14 matches.
Thursday marks the end of the collegiate careers of Abree Fry, Vanessa Bevalian and Rosa Reyes.
