Women’s golf competes in Blinn College Buccaneer Fall Invitational

BRENHAM – The Texas A&M University-Victoria women's golf team wrapped up play at the Blinn College Buccaneer Fall Invitational on Tuesday.

The tournament was held at the Brenham Country Club, a Par-72 course.

Philasinee Sirisawat led the way by going 83-86—169 to finish T-17 at the tournament. She was tied for second among the field in Par 3 and Par 5 scoring, averaging 3.5 on Par 3s and an even par on Par 5s.

Madeline Pate finished 27^th after rounds of 87 and 90. She was tied for sixth in Par 3 scoring with an average of 3.38.

Kaitlin Lopez made the biggest jump on the final day, moving up nine spots after a nine-stroke improvement on the final day to go 94-85—179 and finished T-29.

Laney Glass rounded out the scores for A&M-Victoria, finishing 42^nd.

The Jaguars finished eighth at the tournament, which is their final tournament of the fall semester.
