A&M-Victoria men's soccer announces 2026 schedule

The Texas A&M University-Victoria men's soccer team is ready for year two under Vince Martinez.

On Wednesday, the Jaguars announced their 2026 schedule which features 16 matches from August to October. Last year, the Jaguars reached the Red River Athletic Conference quarterfinals.

A&M-Victoria (8-9-2 in 2025) opens the season at home against Schreiner University on Thursday, Aug. 27, at 1 p.m. It's the first of seven home matches for the Jaguars.

After the season opener, the Jaguars are on the road for three consecutive matches against Nelson University (Sept. 1), Texas Wesleyan University (Sept. 3) and NCAA Division III Texas Lutheran University (Sept. 6).

A&M-Victoria closes out non-conference play at home against Southwestern Christian (Okla.) on Sept. 19 before opening up RRAC play against North American University at home on Sept. 26.

The Jaguars close out the regular season at The Cage on Oct. 24 against Texas A&M University-San Antonio in the second iteration of the Battle of the Big Cats.

A&M-Victoria returns two of its staples from last year in Mosiah Bonney and Jervan Matthew. Bonney was an All-RRAC second team defender in 2025 while Matthew also landed on the second team after scoring a team-leading eight goals with three assists.
