Doug begins his second season as Jaugars' pitching coach and third season as a coach with the team.  In 2009, Doug helped pitchers Austin Hitt and Ray Maldonado earn All-Conference awards and Maldonado was named a 2nd team All-American. 

Heinold was first round draft pick of the New York Yankees in 1973 (drafted 13th overall) following a standout high school career at Stroman High School. Heinold worked his way up to play AAA in the Yankees organization before an arm injury cut his career short.
