Head coach Terry Puhl and the University of Houston-Victoria Jaguars baseball team will host open tryouts for the 2009-10 baseball season on Monday, June 1, 2009 at Riverside Stadium in Victoria, Texas.

All prospective baseball players must have completed a minimum of 30 hours of college course work and have a minimum GPA of 2.0 and meet all other UHV admissions requirements.

Eligible students interested in trying out for the Jaguars can register for the tryouts beginning at 8:30 a.m. on the day of the tryout. The tryout will begin at 9:30 a.m.

Each tryout candidate must bring their own equipment and is asked to bring a copy of all their college transcripts and will be required to sign a waiver.

Riverside Stadium is located at 406 Memorial Drive, Victoria, TX 77901
