It's Championship Saturday for the UHV Jaguars softball and baseball teams, as both teams advance to their respective conference tournament final games.
The Jaguars baseball team advancing to the championship game of the A.I.I. baseball championship with a 20-4 win over LSUA at Riverside Stadium. The host Jaguars hit 4 homeruns, including the first ever by Chris Neiser. The championship game will begin at 1:00 tomorrow afternoon.
The Jaguars softball team advanced to the A.I.I. softball championship game in Thomasville, Georgia with a 5-4 win over 9th ranked Simon Fraser University. Lauren Garza picked up the win.
The softball final begins tomorrow afternoon at 4:30.
