The University of Houston-Victoria men's golf team remained in the top 25 of the Golfstat NAIA team rankings staying at No. 23 in the latest poll released Thursday.

 

Among the Association of Independent Institutions schools in the rankings, the Jaguars are slightly behind the University of British Columbia (No. 12) and California State University-San Marcos (No. 17) in the Golfstat rankings. Victoria British Columbia is at No. 35 and Thomas (Ga.) is at No. 61 to round out the top five A.I.I. schools.

Individually for the Jaguars, freshman Vance Edwards is tied for 40th in scoring average with a 72.75 average, while senior Cory Anderson is tied for 70th with a 73.50 average through three tournaments. Freshman Jonathan Allen is tied for 89th for the Jaguars with a 73.63 average.

 

Meanwhile, The UHV women's team is ranked No. 61 in the women's team rankings, with two A.I.I. teams ranked in the top 10. The University of British Columbia is at No. 3 and Victoria-British Columbia is at No. 6.
