The University of Houston-Victoria Jaguars softball team was ranked 15th in the latest National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Softball Coaches' Top 25 Poll, released today.

In addition, the team continues to be ranked second in the weekly NAIA Association of Independent Institutions Conference Ratings, the latest edition of which was released Monday.

"I am happy we moved up a couple of spots this week," said Keri Lambeth, UHV head softball coach. "We just have to keep winning and hopefully we will keep climbing in the polls. "

The Jaguars are 18-7 so far this season and have are on a six- game winning streak. The streak includes back- to-back no-hitters by pitcher Tasha Rotramel against Dana College and Texas College.

The UHV softball team will travel to the Dallas Metroplex for games against Texas Wesleyan on Saturday and Northwood University on Saturday.
