UHV Jaguars pitcher Tasha Rotramel made history, pitching the first no-hitter in UHV softball history.
Rotramel, a junior, struck out 9 as the Jaguars beat the Dana College Vikings 6-0 in game 2 of the doubleheader.  The Jaguars edged the Vikings 1-0 in the first game.

Rotramel improved to 6 and 2 on the season and has been a pleasant addition to the Jaguars pitching staff.

Last season, Kristen Lindley and Lauren Garza combined to win 30 of 32 games.  This year, Rotramel provides a third option for head coach Keri Lambeth.

The Jaguars will travel to play Texas College on Saturday.  The Jaguars opened the season against Texas College winning both games 18-0 and 21-0.
