Vincent is one of 174 women's golf student-athletes to be recognized for the national honor.

She is only the second UHV women's golfer to earn the distinction, joining former UHV golfer Lyndie Smith, who earned the honor in 2012 and 2013.

In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status.
