Head coach Terry Puhl and the University of Houston Jaguars baseball team will host open tryouts for the 2010-11 baseball season on Thursday, May 27 at 4 p.m. at Riverside Stadium in Victoria.

All prospective baseball players must have applied for entrance or already been accepted to UHV. To apply to UHV go to http://www.uhv.edu/. College transfer students will also need a copy of their transcript. Each player trying out will also need to sign a waiver and those under 18 must have the waiver signed by their parents.

Each tryout candidate must bring their own equipment. Players can begin signing up at 3 p.m., with tryouts to begin at 4 p.m.
